igloos |
definition: |
An igloo is a type of home. It is made of blocks of hard snow. Certain people who live in very cold places on earth make igloos to live in or to stay for a while. Sometimes igloos are connected with each other by tunnels and they make a small village.
When it snowed a lot last winter, my friend and I tried to make an igloo. It wasn't like a real igloo, but it was fun to try to make it.

Igloo is an Inuit (Eskimo) word for "house." To the Inuit people, it may seem that
house is the English word for "igloo."
