Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan is a country in Asia. Some of its neighbors are China and Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan has many high mountains. Many people in Kyrgyzstan raise cattle, sheep, and goats. Farming is also important. People grow wheat, potatoes, tobacco, fruit, and vegetables called sugar beets. Sugar beets can be used to make sugar.
