Qatar Qatar is a country on the continent of Asia. It is in a part of the world called the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is its neighbor, and it is also near the country of Bahrain. The land of Qatar is a peninsula that sticks out into a body of water called the Persian Gulf. Qatar is mostly desert, but it is only very hot in the summer.
