dinosaur A dinosaur is an animal that lived on the earth a very long time ago. Dinosaurs were reptiles, and some of them looked like big lizards. Some dinosaurs were the largest animals that ever lived on land, but some dinosaurs were small and ate only plants.
dip When you dip something, you put it in some liquid for a very short time. If you dip your toes in the water, it means that you put your toes in the water and quickly take them out again. [3 definitions]
